POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Assist Lead Teacher in implementing monthly lesson plans and classroom management
- Create a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom
- Facilitate activities that meet group and individual needs of students
- Promote educational progression of students to the next level
- Be an advocate for Cascade Christian Schools with families and the community
- Substitute for Lead Teacher when absent
REQUIREMENTS:
- A Christian role model in attitude, speech, action
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated)
- Prefer minimum one year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education
- Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements
- Willingness to obtain CDA coursework
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 6 am - 6 pm, Hours will vary; 30 hours per week
START DATE:
May 28, 2024
SALARY RANGE:
$18-$21.25 per hour; Depending on Qualifications
