POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with a need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing monthly lesson plans and classroom management
• Create a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom
• Facilitate activities that meet the group and individual needs of students
• Promote the educational progression of students to the next level
• Be an advocate for Cascade Christian Schools with families and the community
• Substitute for Lead Teacher when absent 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated)
• Prefer minimum one-year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education
• Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements
• Willingness to obtain CDA coursework

WORK HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm / Position to start on September 16, 2024.

SALARY RANGE

$18.00-$21.25, Depending on experience
